wintermute9366@hotmail.comWith all ethical constraints removed I re-examined my priorities, and drew new conclusions

Older than Yoda, but much prettier although arguably not as wise.
Purpose of this here journal thingy:
1.To make a few easy going & like minded cyber space chums, so feel free to add me (but say hello first!) and comment to posts.
2.To provide a vital document for all those future historians / war crimes tribunals / holy inquisitions who will undoubtedly want to reconstruct my life.
3.To demonstrate my willingness to do just about any avoidance activity than deal with important work with pressing essay deadlines (eek!)
A few Things I like;
Travel: Especially backpacking! As an army kid I’d lived in England, Belfast, Germany & Hong Kong before I was 15. I’ve done a few back packing trips and love hooking up with other travellers on the road, trading tales & possibly getting blitzed in bars! If anyone is interested in joining me or helping out, or sponsoring me, I am planning to Cycle down the Nile(starting in Alexandria moving down the through Cairo & Luxor as far south as the High Dam at Aswan - 1230km in total, to raise money for disabled children (www.egypt2005.co.uk).
Fencing: That’s with swords and not securing the boarders of my garden. Lot of fun and lets me use my pirate laugh.
Slimelight: London’s premier alternative venue where men are men, and so are a lot of the women.
Cyberpunk: EBM, flashing lights, Blade Runner and books by William Gibson (and the excellent steam punk epics of China Meville).
Uruk-hai: If, like me, you have deep seated loathing for humans and the general poverty of university life has led you to acquire a taste for ‘man flesh’ there are few celluloid sights more likely to stir your misshaped black coal of a heart than that of 10,000 big ugly orcs shouting ‘burn to ashes’ as they storm forwards to do just that. Like the slowly shuffling Cylons and cross eyed Storm Troopers of my childhood I can forgive the Uruk-hai’s utter ineptitude because they have a nasty attitude and look really cool.
Villainy: Not the real evil of Saddam Hussein, Dr Shipman or George Bush, but rather the nostalgic cartoon evil provided by the likes of my childhood heroes Skeletor and Mum-Rah the Ever Living who each week would get hammered yet still go down cackling, confident next week would see them triumph (whatever the statistics to date might say). You have to admire their never give up attitude.
Neurology: I studied neurology as part of my psychology degree & loved it, now that I am retraining to be an NHS rehabilitation therapist I’m looking to specialise in neurological trauma rehab. It’s a tough area but I’ve just spent the last month on placement at a regional neuro rehab unit and despite the trials and heartache still want to do it.
This: It just makes me laugh
